“But wait… where do I find deals for cheap Athens hotels?”
Well a cheap Athens hotel is a deal in itself. If you’re still not satisfied with the price though, you may want to search for a good price well in advance of your stay. Start your research a couple of months before getting to Athens and book a couple of months before as well. Timing is everything in getting a good deal. Also, during off-season and midweek rates are much cheaper than otherwise. Try calling and asking for rates and tell them whether they have rooms with cheaper rates still.
